We went as 2 families with 5 kids, they were welcoming and it was something different but they do not have a kids menu, or many options for little ones to eat.

Yes it is but no kids menu
I personally think a 12 yo woukd love it. There us approachable food and the atmosphere looks like a fancy carnival.
