I just paid $35 for a greens mix ($3.99), a batch of Tuscan kale (no marked price), a 12er of LaCroix (no marked price), a container of Feta ($4.99), and a bottle of Kombucha ($3.99). I didn’t get a receipt (my bad although wasn’t offered so thought might be in bag), but either I was straight ripped off or Kale and LaCroix cost about $20 combined. Bummer because it seemed convenient but won’t be going back.

I have been shopping at Farmers Pride at 756 N Western Ave in Chicago for about 3 years and have always had a good experience until today. Two days ago I did my grocery shopping as usual and while I was there I purchased a few pork chops. Came home, unloaded my groceries and placed the chops in the freezer. I opened up the pork chops and 2 days after purchase, thawed them out and they smelled like death. Never in my life have I returned meat until today only to get an attitude and no help, credit or return from the new manager. Am I wrong for thinking fresh meat should be good for 2 days after purchase to cook? I told him maybe I should take my business elsewhere and he said fine like I was nothing. Whats this city coming to?
