You should probably put your items in a storage unit & then see about getting into a single adult shelter unless you have children, then look into a family shelter. At least you can get some assistance finding your own place from a case manager, while staying at a shelter.
the waiting list is closed. I think CHA had there public housing waiting list open.
The dhs office gave me the number but they didnt say who to ask for. I have to be out of my uncles house by april hes threating to throw all my stuff out and doesnt care what happens to it.
