Yes, Sam & Omie's is a block away, plus there are a number of great restaurants within a short drive (Sugar Creek, Lone Cedar, Blue Moon, Mulligans to name a few).
Try Fishheads down the road for great live music, beer/wine bar and great shrimp! I agree with the owner's recommendations! The owners are fantastic and we had the best time!
I can personally recommend Sugar Creek and Mulligans. I also enjoyed Miller's Seafood and Steakhouse for Breakfast! at MP 9.5 on beach road in Kill Devil Hills.
