What about potatoes and Oranges and apples? my daughter need it for her science fair project to test which fruit will light up her light bulb.

I believe it's too early for fruit and vegetables to be sold at the market. They're just now starting to sell the small vegetable plants.

Go tomorrow morning. Local potatoes and apples are not in season. They probably have them from out of state. Potatoes are a vegetable, not a fruit. My ex wife worked for several vendors at the market for many years selling fruit, vegetables, christmas trees. Good luck on the science project.
