I disagree with David. I'm in my 6th month and could not be happier. CR England gives in writing the pay plan and path to promotions. I've found that most who are discontent with CRE dismissed or denied the reality of pay and expectations. Where I to start all over again, knowing what I have experienced with CRE, I would not hesitate to sign up with them again. I told my wife that for the first six months there would be little money or hometime - and so it has been.
My pay in 2014 was 9 an hour while driving minimum wage while on duty not driving and 0.25cpm. I would not recommend them to any one pay is not bad to start but training is half assed and rushed. I was promised $600 a week while in training and even more after training and home time every weekend after training. I bearly made 300 a week after and was told I can go home once ever 4 weeks out and am only allowed to spend at most 4 days at home.
Cr England is the lowest paying company in the industry and I know for a fact cause I worked with 2 other companies before cr and they pay 25 cents per mile well I guess I het 26 since I'm am experienced driver psfh I'm on my way to quitting with them
For the first year dependant on what fleet you're driving with also your pay will also fluctuate, phase 1 (training) you're paid your home states hourly minimum wage, phase 2 second seat, 28cpm split (14cpm), phase 2 team 28cpm split +1cpm, phase 2 first seat 28cpm split +2cpm, phase 2 advance lead 28cpm split +3cpm, solo is 26cpm +3cpm, trainers get 28cpm +3cpm does not split with trainee. For every year you're with the company you get an automatic 3cpm pay raise and bonus check.
I'm happy with Marten Transportation, $1,200 weekly pay guarantee, I usually make between $1,500 - $2,000 a week. I left CR England around 90 days because I wasn't going to starve myself.
Drivers want at least $100/a day. And Groundkeepers make $80/a day.
People don't stay for long if they even finish training. You got to talk to the company drivers that weren't expecting to become rich the first month out. Most trainees are sitting there complaining that they didn't expect this or that. Problem is if you don't research you get what you get. Most who complained about Cre are drivers who didn't stay passed training and if you don't complete it you pay back the waste or thier time which any company would. Of you complete training and learn how to be an actual driver you shouldn't have issues but you aren't going to become instantly rich out here no matter the company you drive for. Most complainers want rich quick schemes or they are living in reality. Drivers have a difficult life and it isn't for everyone. You have to make your own choices and opinions. And prove yourself in order to make bank.
It all depends on where you live and what the rate is there. But yes at first its .14 cpm and every month it goes up. This is the best place to get your foot in the door.
It shouldn't split
While with a trainer $10 per hr while driving, during phase 2, 28 cents per mile split with 1st seat

I disagree with Roger Beutel. Just because you tell your wife a company is going to pay you half what another company is more than willing to pay you, doesn't mean that a company is good. Setting realistic expectations is important, but just because they set an expectation for you doesnt mean it is a good one. There are many companies out there that actually pay their trainees. CR England is not one of them.
