There are not a lot of beaches in the keys. A great place to go for a small Beach is marker 88 which also has a restaurant. another great place is if you go to the pool restaurant at The islander you have access to the pool and the beach there which is absolutely beautiful
Go to Pennycamp state park. There is a beach and snorkeling off a reef after a boat trip.
