I have a pa issued birth certificate without parents names. I need one with parents names for a passport. how do I go about getting one?

Just go down to Vital Records and reapply for a new birth certificate, and add your parents' names on the application. I had to do the same thing to get my passport.

They do exist and according to th PA viral records website, some birth certificates only have the child on them.

My certified copy of my birth certificate that I got from the state in 1996 doesn't have my parents names on it. I had to get another one with their names on it.

I doubt if it's a birth certificate there has to be parents names on it if it's a birth certificate, sorry I never heard of an instance like that but I guess anything's possible you're going to have to talk to your local committeeman or congressman
