First you need to get a ticket. The ticket booths are near certain stops on the routes. Riders then go to the actual stop to board the trolley. The trolleys follow fixed routes. The trolley may stop near a hotel, but you either need to take a car or cab to get to a ticket booth. There are a fixed number of tickets per route for each day. So get tickets early. Ticket holders can board or leave the trolley at any stop.

When I was there in October, they did not stop at hotels, per se. They stop near several hotels. You should be able to find all the stops. Call the company of you can't.
The trolley stops at various points along the route. Some may be within walking distance from your hotel.
They have numerous stops some that are very cloae to hotels in the downtown area. Its more like a bus stop rather than a chartered service directly to hotel door step.
The Trolly is a tour trolley. You can take a cab I am sure.
