Grants farm is free to enter so you can leave and come back whenever you want to just have to pay for parking again if you parked in their lot.
You could come back but it's a little bit of a trek with the shuttle . It's easier just to pack an easy lunch or grab a quick bite there.

You have to pay for your parking but the general exhibit is free. Therefore if leaving the parking you'd probably have to pay twice for parking.
