Yes we paid deposit but if cancellation you get it back if cancellation is more than 48 hrs I do believe. It's very close to the Island and walking distances to most everything.
Yes, we do require the first night deposit at the time of the booking of the reservation. This deposit is fully refunded if cancellation policy is met (typically 48 hrs prior to arrival).
