The Opryhouse out at the Opry Mills Mall holds 4400 people. The Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville seats about 2000 people. The Opry show itself splits between these two venues depending on the time of year and the type of show. The regular Opry show runs from February through October at the Opryhouse near Opry Mills Mall. During the months of November, December, and January the show moves to the Ryman auditorium downtown. On select Thursday nights, the Opry "country classics" show runs at the Ryman Auditorium. This all can create some confusion. So be sure to check your tickets closely when you order them to make sure you're headed to the right venue location. Also, don't rely on your Uber, cab, or bus driver to know the correct venue for your show. Read your ticket and know the proper location ahead of time. It will save you from a lot of stress in the long run.
