You can buy them either online or when you get there. They offer the Acuff House tour as an add-on package. The tour lasts about 45 min of Opryland. Only advantage of online is skipping the ticket window
Look online for discount codes before you purchase tickets. You can save a few bucks. Also the VIP backstage tour is awesome. You're on the stage as the curtain rises for the first performance. I highly recommend it.
Online and print at home, then you just walk up and they scan it at the door.
