It depends on what you mean by close. The parking for the Grand Ole Opry is the mall parking for Opry Mills. There is a large open area in front of the Opry, between the building and the road, and all the parking is across the roadway. I would expect the handicapped spaces to full up quickly. And the Mall patrons share the parking.
Yes
The key us to come as early as possible. Grab your handicap parking spot and enjoy the mall across the street for a while first. Eat dinner perhaps. After that, go across to the Opryhouse a half hour to an hour before the show on one show nights to get to your seats before the last minute mad rush of arrivals. There will also be a security screening line that you will have to go through as well. There is a large sized front courtyard out front that you will have to traverse and it is at a bit of an uphill grade. There are benches along the way if you need them. Tip: Make sure that you have purchased handicapped seating, ahead of time, and verify that the tickets you received are for handicapped seats.
Handicapped parking is the first two rows at Opry Mills. Get there early or no spaces.Better to get dropped by the front, there is a drop off area directly in front of bldg.
