At the top of the hike down to Vikingsholm, you can sit and wait at the scenic view area that has walls and limited benches to sit on (at the beginning of the hike path).
There are parking area's where you can wait. There are two trails, one from the parking with the scenic view and the second from the camp grounds. The first is steeper, while the second is longer but not as steep
The view from the parking area of the lake and mountain below is lovely and there are some nice viewing areas with rocks and benches, although it's going to be a long wait for them to walk all the way down the mointain, take the tour, and walk back up so maybe bring a book to read while you enjoy the scenery.
Another way is to jet ski, or take a boat to the place. Walk, or hike around, and return in the boat. The view from the road up is gorgeous. Have taken see several pictures from the top, beside the road. Very limited parking. On a hot day, stones can be very hot. You can always park by the road next the hiking lanes. Little shoulder room by the road so if waiting for long avoids overcrowding by parking a little away. You can walk along the road while you wait. Nice scenery.
In the parking area there's limited seating..
