Hi Kathy. We do purchase gold and diamonds. We evaluate these items on a wholesale value, which is the weight and type of metal and the size and quality of the diamonds. Not all diamonds are of a size or quality that we can offer on, and depending on our current stock needs we may make no offer on a diamond. We do not purchase colored gemstones. If you choose to sell your jewelry you will be written a check on the spot. You do need to have a valid driver’s license for us to write a check. There is no need for an appointment to sell jewelry.
