However, we don't offer consignment services to sell jewelry for others. Thanks for your question! For insurance or estate purposes, the cost is $100 per item. It takes about a week for our GIA Certified appraiser to perform appraisals. Please feel free to give us a call with any further questions you might have.

Hi Raefella, Yes, we offer in-house sizing on Sterling Silver, 10/14/18 karat gold and platinum rings. The ring does not leave our store when being sized by our in-house goldsmiths. The cost for sizing starts between $40 and $65 and may go up depending on how many sizes need to be adjusted, the type of metal and any additional work that may need to be done to complete the sizing. Turnaround time is typically one week on our repairs. Keep in mind that not all rings can be sized. If you would like your ring sized, please bring it by so our staff can take a careful look to determine ability and final cost.

To protect customers and employees from COVID, Worthington Jewelers limits the number of customers in the store and requires social distancing. Both employees and customers wear masks. Plexiglass dividers are available to use between employees and customers. Surfaces are sanitized regularly, including between customers. Hand sanitizer is available. Curbside pickup is available.

My diamond did come with a certification. I dont know if thats standard for all gemstones, but we did not request it, it was automatic

Hi Kathy. We do purchase gold and diamonds. We evaluate these items on a wholesale value, which is the weight and type of metal and the size and quality of the diamonds. Not all diamonds are of a size or quality that we can offer on, and depending on our current stock needs we may make no offer on a diamond. We do not purchase colored gemstones. If you choose to sell your jewelry you will be written a check on the spot. You do need to have a valid driver’s license for us to write a check. There is no need for an appointment to sell jewelry. Stop in whenever it is convenient, and we’re more than happy to give you an offer. We hope you'll stop by our store at 692 High Street in Worthington soon!
