Are you referring to a " temp tag".?.
Not sure what a "registration paper" is, but a Temporary Plate is 45 days long. A second Temporary plate is only issued if your Title hasn't been sent to you or it isn't available at the Title Office. That second Temporary Plate is 30 days long.
