I never had said that the Wethersfield Cove has free boat launching .I know it doesn't I don't think they would go back to free once they start the charging that's like raising taxes and then dropping taxes after something was paid that got the taxes to be raised by that just doesn't happen. I'm pretty sure it's by length of the boat I'm not sure about axles if you had a double axle if you had a very big boat I was just curious of how much her ft and how much a season boat launch pass would cost because I don't think people that go there regularly would be so thrilled to have to bring money with them every time and stop at the booth versus having a sticker on the windshield and slowly driving past the booth as the person sees the sticker and waves you on to continue.
I'm not certain about the cove being a free public boat launch. The town of Wethersfield parks and recreation definitely keeps the place up. But I'm not sure if June, July, and August you gotta pay for the boat. The ferry launch in Rocky Hill your definitely paying.
I have no idea. I don't have a boat. I like to go there for relaxing, view and walk my dog. But about 3 miles away, in Rocky hill is free boat launch with everything you need. Just follow signs to ferry on road 160.
