Tabby's place is wonderful and cats regardless of problems they will never be turned away. You should visit there and just sit in the lobby area and cat's will come and sit with you absolutely a beautiful experience
Elaine, you are so compassionate to be planning for your cats' lifelong care. Tabby's Place does have a Guardian Angel Program that sounds like what you may be looking for: https://www.tabbysplace.org/guardian-angel-program.html You can find an extensive listing of additional pet sanctuaries and "retirement homes" here: http://2ndchance4pets.org/resources.html#link4 I truly hope this is helpful, Elaine!
Tabby's Place can prearrange such a thing. Not sure how or what upfront cost might be involved. I believe they refer to it as an Angel's Program and i have seen cats taken in because an owner passed. One left them 3 black cats. The youngest was adopted back out, one passed (a hugely popular cat there that I knew well) and one is still there. See if they have information on www.tabbysplace.org.
