I cannot say enough great things about this business and those that work there. They are in business of bonsais and they are what you expect professionals to have and care for when you arrive. They have many different species separated out, I BELIEVE by tropical, sub-tropical, and hardier deciduous and conifer shrubs/plants/trees via greenhouses and outdoor stands. They provide care instructions, answer your questions, and IMO are priced very well. While still expensive, you can tell the quality is unmatched to what you may find online or at a nursery that happens to have 1-2 bonsais in. My favorite part about this business is that even several months after my purchases there, they are very responsive to my questions — I just moved my Jade bonsai inside due to winter conditions increasing and they answered my lengthily questions by email in the same day! Such amazing customer service, I was honestly floored. If you’re on the fence with where to go, I highly recommend trying this place.

My husband and I have so much respect for Allshapes. The owner we usually speak to there is extremely knowledgeable and cares about the plants more than making a quick buck which is what keeps us coming back! His passion shows and the quality of the plants is top notch. I definitely recommend Allshapes for any of your bonsai needs. Even if they don't have something in stock, they are willing to go out of their way to get it for you. Unparalleled customer service!

A very serene and comfortable environment built with purpose. The selection of mature Bonsai is really amazing. But if you’re budget conscious and want to start on your own they have everything you need.

Thanks for writing. Bonsai are plants and require light and water. I hope you have it in some direct sunlight and keep it watered. If it's in a bonsai soil it's not going to behave like potting soil but dry out very quick. Water it well but don't allow it to stand or sit in water. Just give it a soaking each time you water and water again before the soil dries out again. This may be every day in the summer. If it's in a gravel like soil.. it will be hard to over water so water generously. As for the sun...sunlight allows the tree to make sugars and starches for food...take it out of sunlight what would you expect? So I hope you understand how important sunlight is. These are the most important parts of bonsai (sunlight and water) not to mention growing any plant. If the tree is dead I can only suggest a replacement. I would be glad to help but will need more information. I hope this helps. --Dave
