Beautiful bonsai and trees. Immediately met by a friendly worker who showed us into the greenhouse and told us about the property! Such a cool place, especially for collectors and tree enthusiasts!

I visited this place a couple years ago with my kids and we loved it. I wanted to introduce my husband to this place but upon our visit yesterday, I was extremely embarrassed that I even suggested it. The staff were almost absent... the plants are unrealistically over-priced... I mean, a bonzai tree for $900, a cactus for $400, and some of the older plants were listed in the triple digits. I even wondered if the listed prices were a joke?? There were very small potted plants listed for $35, or small air plants for 40. My goodness... not to mention that most of the plants there are either dead or dying. I won't be returning, or recommending this place to anyone again. 😒😔

Questions & Answers

Do you replant Cactus plants?

Andy Silver | Oct 24, 2019

Yes you do. The easiest way it to get a bigger pot, preferably teracata, add perlite to the bottom, add some soil to it, put your plant in the new pot, add more soil to fill in gaps. You want to leave some distance between the top of the soil and the rim of the pot, it will make watering easier. Soil type is important for plants, Bob Mutschler has a fantastic soil mix that he makes himself, and If you are nervous, He may be willing to help you with the repotting. Hope this helps.
