I would not count on there being any flowers at all at Draper in August. Instead, nearby there is Lineberger's Maple Springs Farm in Dallas. They have planted several fields which are blooming now and will Bloom throughout the month of August. They do not charge a fee to shoot in their fields.

There probably won't have any sunflowers left by then. I just read that McFarland Farms will be taking reservations middle of Aug for aug16-30 check out their website. Good luck and best wishes to you!!
I don't think there's going to be much at that time. You may get lucky and find a patch here and there. I'd recommend visiting a few days before to see if there's a spot you can use. Best of luck on the proposal!
Hi Austin. We were there 2 weeks ago and all the big sunflowers have already lost their petals. There were small sunflower varieties in bloom at that time but they were very few and far in between. See the pictures I posted with my review. I don't think there's any left by the time you go. Good luck and best wishes on your planned proposal.
I believe they stagger out the planting but not sure there will be any flowers that late in the season
I am planning a proposal here and I wanna make sure that there will be sunflowers as they are her favorite flower. And I have it planned out for the 29th of august
