A beautiful short walk out from the parking lot. Definitely worth the trip. Bring bug spray, the island is a swamp and there are a lot of mosquitoes.

WARNING!!Over Priced Attraction Alert!!! It's $50 for out state vehicle to enter this park &it's in a absolutely deplorable part of town industrial section. It's great if u don't mind be shived!! Do not bother scratch this rathole off your lighthouse tour!! Go see the real beauties in Maine. Fairfield &Stratford Connecticut are massively disappointing!!!

If you go after 5 or 6 pm not sure what time parking is inside seaside park
I went in february and walked to the Lighthouse, as we were returning back from the lighthouse a couple was there with their dog walking towards the Lighthouse. I'm assuming it's fine. You might want to double check.
