Hi Jo! Our veterinarian would need to meet and examine your pet - we do not euthanize animals without a medical reason to do so, and our veterinarian would make that determination (if your pet has an illness or injury that is untreatable and euthanasia would be the only or best option). An exam fee is $30 for that assessment, and does require an appointment. You can call us at 843-546-0780 ext. 1 for more information or to make an appointment. We hope your pet is comfortable in the meantime, and send you lots of love and sympathy as you deal with this end-of-life care.
I believe they're a no-kill animal shelter, your question would best be applied to a vet.
I don't know their prices but if you call them, I am sure they can give you the cost, depending on what the animal is.
You should probably call or come in person to speak to them. Most shelter are only able to provide euthanasia for animals under the care of the shelter. They may not provide it as a public service for people's pets.
