Cannot have any expectation of scheduled pick ups to be constant in Georgetown. If you are trying to run a business out of your home, you will get late shipment complaints and dings on your business accounts because they will miss pickups. I have printed the confirmation emails and went into the post office 2x during the last 6 months. The answer is always the same, someone differ may have that route today. They close at 4:30 where you can drop off in the lobby, good luck with guaranteed service. I bet if it was the police or IRS wanting money, they would make sure it was constant every time. Privatize this non sense!

Not sure what is going on this week. Last two days, in coming mail was dropped off, but out going mail was left in box. Getting neighbor's mail is a regular occurrence.

The mail person consistently leaves my packages in a box then leaves the key in the box! Instead of leaving the key in my actual mailbox. So anybody can just come and grab my packages if they want because the key is still left in! It’s ridiculous. I have a package that was not delivered even though the tracking number says it was delivered and I can’t get a hold of anyone because no one answers the phone at the Georgetown post office! The absolute incompetence is astounding.

Good luck trying to get a manager or anyone on the phone. Mail misdelivered - um, you have ONE JOB. This is a government entity and is run like one -- no one takes responsibility, can't get anyone on the phone, etc.
