Are there shaded sites for tents or are all tent sites in an open field?

You can get either type. It depends if you want a primative site or not. In the regular campground they have a lot of sites in the shade.

The tent sites are not in an open field. They are in a wooded area and heavily shaded. Or like Charles said you can rent a rv site with power and water. Many are shaded.

Not sure but you can rent an EV site and put a tent on it. Plenty of shade there but more expensive, so...
