I saw a guy being ticketed for leaving his car unattended.
It's not like the bigger airports. It's so much easier to drop or pick up. I sat out front waiting for my ride and saw people carrying items to the door for a passenger while their car was running @ the curb. Traffic was minimal.
I would say compared to other airports it's pretty relaxed. You can get out of your car and and say your goodbyes without any issues. There's a right lane and a left lane in front of the terminal at GSP with a little sidewalk island between the two. Use either one with no problem. They're both very convenient. I would probably choose to lane that's less busy if you can.
You can go up to the door but don't go inside.
Drop off and go. No unattended vehicles allowed. They will be ticketed.
Don't leave your car empty at drop off place
They don't have someone trying to rush you through. It's an easy process.
