Charleston is a small airport and you can actually see planes taking off in driving outside the airport. However to my knowledge there is no viewing area.
You may find a sympathetic ticket counter agent that will issue you a gate pass.... **IF** you are accompanying a ticketed passenger.... **the airport isnt too busy or under security alert.... **the agent is in a generous mood...try complimenting something.. -you will need a valid i.d. and go through security in the same manner as a ticketed passenger. In my experience agents from various airlines have given a gate pass to my bf about 50% of the time so it's worth a shot. Good luck. And this is just for a single individual. If you want to bring your kids or family to watch planes it wont work.. lol
Not really. The take off and landing is on the back by arrivals and departures.
No, there is not!
