Alligators don't go above the fall line. You must always lookout for water moccasins and rattle snakes.
Your dog will love it. No alligators or poisonous frogs. Our snakes are not poisonous. We have no rattle snakes here and water moccasins are very very very rare here. We have water snakes but they wont hurt you. Had my little dog out there yesterday again. Feel very safe having him there.
No alligators this far inland. Poisonous snakes are possible - just be alert.
