Yes you can camp on the islands out in the lake. If you put your boat in at the state park you will have to pay admisson for beach day your vehicle is parked in the park.

Islands that are not specifically part of the county park, you can usually canoe or kayak out too and stay as long as its public land.

They do have primitive camping out there. It's basically very close to the entrance.
There are primitive camping areas but they do require a 2 night minimum and a reservation
