Able and Gracie '52 '59 dont know about destruction fire burned it down in '67
Fire destroyed it in 1967 but im not sure about a hurricane.
The pier bured down in 67 and the beach started washing away i think 1741an most of the board walk was destroyed by Sandy in 2012 but a lot of the boardwalk was that away with in the 1970s
