Well, I didn't read the answers before responding. (Thanks Google) no merit to my opinion or thoughts but I believe this true. I could imagine since the vines are exposed, it would be easy for accidents to happen if the kiddos felt the need to "explore". Also there are turkeys and chickens in coups so I would also think one reason kids are not allowed would be to keep them from wanting to antagonize them.

The sign posted reads 21+ only.

That is correct we are 21+ only! We started this policy last year with reduced occupancy and have decided to keep it that way and try our best to enforce it going forward. This is for the safety of the children as well as to maintain the adult atmosphere that a lot of our patrons come to Fortunata for. We do appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
