Had to get two out-of-state vehicles inspected in a short period of time. There were other comparable businesses closer to my home, but they didn't have the great reviews I read for Brakes Plus (specifically Store # 11 at 26585 E. University in Aubrey). They were able to get both cars inspected despite it being the day after a three-day weekend, which is usually a non-starter to begin with. But Brenda was the penultimate in courteous service and just a very friendly person. And I'd met Steven for all of 10 minutes, but it seemed as if we'd known each other for much longer. Being a transplanted Texan, I think we've found our neighborhood mechanic! And that's a comfort which is hard to come by. Well done, Brakes Plus, and thank you! Best regards, Mark

I can't express enough how friendly and helpful the staff here are, especially Steven Burns. Every interaction I've had has been pleasant, informative, and easy. They embody the values of excellent customer service and integrity. Twice when I've taken a car to them for service they gave honest quotes, but gave me the option, and recommendation, on if it was worth going through with, and took care of superficial issues without charge. I was more than happy to take my car to them when it ultimately needed brake replacements. I look forward to coming to them for any future maintenance needs I have. I highly recommend you do the same.

I have been here multiple times for my car and am never disappointed with the work. They have helped me keep my car in great shape which is very important to me at the rate I drive it. I never feel like I am being fleeced or treated unfairly, especially as a woman. This is one of the best experiences I have had dealing with mechanics and my car drives like a dream as a result. The entire crew at the Aubrey location is awesome. We are always welcomed with a smile and polite conversation. They are honest about what needs to be done and don't try to force you into making expected repairs. They give you the information you need and let you as the customer make the decision. Steven and Blake always take really good care of us. We highly recommend them for any service you may need.
