The type of JROTC you take does not restrict you from joining the branch of your choice. A recruiter is the best source of information for questions concerning joining the Marines.
You can visit a recruiting station anytime you have questions. I was in JROTC in highschool, did 2 years, it can get you a higher starting rank when you join. Has nothing to do with what branch you join when you sign up with a recruiter.
This is correct. There are NavMarCor ROTC out there, but a recruiter is the best source of information. Go and see one...or all of them...to help you make the most educated decision.
