This is a very nice RV park on the Marine Corps Recuit Depot consisting of 18 back in spots pretty far from Mainside and the recruit training areas. The spots have parking pads, but if your rig is very big, you'll have tires on the grass. The reservation system was easy, although if you reserve more than 30 days in advance they ask you to call back to confirm at D-30. The bathroom and laundry were clean and centrally located. My only complaint is that at $40/night, this is the most expensive military RV park I think I've EVER stayed at. There are no other amenities to justify the price point. No pool, no recycling, no dog stations or dog run, etc. Also, the food court at the Exchange is only open on Fridays for graduation. Check out the historical trail near the golf course. You'll learn a lot about the Spanish explorers to the area. Also, the Reconstruction Era Nat'l Historic Site in Beaufort is worth a visit to learn about how Freedmen (slaves) succeeded in this area after the Civil War.

A very basic and comfortable RV park. Set up on a strip of road so there's occasional traffic. It has a decent bathroom, shower, and laundry room. But as military RV parks go, it is the most expensive we have stayed at at $40 per night.

Very basic park but much better than staying off base and fighting traffic to get to graduation!!
