There are a lot of dinosaur exhibits and interactive fossil digs along with a lot of other fun stuff. Seeing Big Al up close was a huge bonus for me. On the main floor you can even watch paleontologists working in a separate room.
Yes! And there is also an annual Dino Festival in the summer as well!
Hi, Kryssie! Thanks for your interest in the museum! We currently have a variety of dinosaur specimens and displays, including life-size cast skeletons of Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Acrocanthosaurus and Allosuaurs. We have an active paleontology lab, in which visitors can view through a window and watch researchers study various fossils of ancient life, including dinosaur fossils. There is also a dino dig pit, where younger children can pretend to excavate dinosaur fossils. We will also be hosting Dino Festival July 24-25, 2020. This is an event in which we provide visitors with an even larger abundance of dinosaur specimens and displays, while giving visitors the opportunity to interact directly with paleontologists and other dino-experts. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
