We want to take the Amtrak to Charlotte to go to Discovery Place. Do we get off at the Convention Center? Does Amtrak stop there? Have always driven to Charlotte so I don't know.

No Amtrak stops at the Amtrak station. Discovery Place is about a mile south of the station. Dont walk Uber Cab or that other one.

Charlotte's only Amtrak stop is a mile or two northeast of Uptown. Your best bet is to take an Uber or taxi from there to Discovery Place.
