I made that mistake as soon as I got in the park. Sunk the front of a humvee. Took a few minutes to wiggle out of it. but it was fun. But yeah, the water is illusively deep in many places, be careful. There's some flats out there that tend to have more shallow mud, but it pretty much large puddles.
I agree with Redwood P, some of the mud holes are really deep. Other that that, it's a blast!
