My name has been on the list since 2010 for a 1 bedroom. My name didn't come up till 2016 and I have yet to get keys in my hands. They told me "they don't have estimated wait times because they don't know when units become available" also, even after your name comes up, your name goes into a pool and whomever gets picked, gets the unit no matter how long you've been in the pool.
I am disabled with a titanium rod in my back. I am diabetic . I get heatstrok
Some cases its months. Other times its been years since a person was approved. If and when something comes available keep them updated on your income also because they sometimes look for reasons to cut you off.
It depends on how long you've been on the waiting list, if you have been selected for housing and which phase of housing you've been approved for. Generally it could take 3 -6 months after approval before getting your keys to your new home. Some cases it could take as long as a year. It depends on the housing unit size and selection.
Why is the position number going up instead of going down? I applied early last year. Can someone help me understand the position meaning?
