As long the halfway home isn't under the umbrella of rescue mission. If so you must wait a year or so after finding housing. Utilize the counseling and case management to get up to date answers to all your questions. Rescue mission is constantly up dating to better help all people to be in secure permanent housing to live stable enough to maintain a productive way of life in order to maintain self-esteem and employment to be self-sufficient. Request a program that is right for you or have the casemanager give you a list. That is my best advice I can give cause it worked for me. Volunteers of Rescue Mission get help quicker cause they give their time and show the employees that they want betterment. You never know you my be brought up in the next meeting cause they see you want more. Make that appointment to see your assigned counselor. Write down all you goals short and long-term and all questions you have. Make them earn the wages they make.
