I have had lobster pots off meigs point and Madison area..the shark issue would only be off meigs point in the ripe lines.. if there are any around.. great ambush. Just ask the local bluefish.. beach is safe..😀😎

The Long Island sound has never been one of the cleanest bodies of water....haven't heard of any shark sightings on that beach
