Purchased my car after ending a lease. Received title but it is not correct. I purchased my car in my name & loan is in my name. Title has my husbands name & my name. My husband is deceased. How do I correct title to my name?

He did no co-sign on the new loan. Loan in my name only. Purchase in my name only. DMV should have titled in my name only. He died 2 years ago & car was only purchased in October in my name. Just got an appointment for in person DMV. I will bring death certificate.

Why are you doing that? If he is deceased, you are the owner and you can sell it as is , no need to change it, Your husband probably co sign on the loan , you can call the dealer, they can correct it for free, or you can summit the dead certificate with your probate paperwork to dmv , so they can issue a new one , just with your name on it
