Actually Goodwill is opened on Sunday on Jonestown Road in Harrisburg near Karn's and the donation center door is to the right of the store entrance, not out back so yes they do take donations on Sundays. Staff will be there to help.
There is a donation receptacle around back. It's usually overflowing, though
