Paddle Boards are allowed. Remember under Colorado Boating Regulations you will need a coast guard approved PFD or Lifejacket of appropriate size, so no adult life jacket on kids for example. As well as a sound device like a whistle. If you park in the parking lot the fee is $10 or you can buy an annual pass. Remember, even dropping off gear still requires a pass if you park outside the main gate.

Paddle boarders out there quite frequently. I go out 2-3 times a week and have seen them many times. Maybe it's an unwritten rule, idk.

I have been out many times and never seen any, would think Lewis correct. I know float tubes, kayaks, canoes, and boats with trolling motor only has been out there. With the wind that pushes towards the rock dam not sure I would suggest it as an ideal paddle board place either. You can verify with the Ranger station.
