Great park to fly a kite, some people looked like they are living in their cars

Park is large. Fields in good shape. Free parking near all fields. Close up seating to enjoy the games. No food was available at the snack hut. This may be due to Covid. Hopefully this feature will return.

The fun and windy trail that runs above Chambers allows for a beautiful panoroma-like walk/run that begins from Chambers & Yale. The beauty begins with you surrounded by lush evergreen trees as the trail bends towards Chambers Ave -- slowly, it rises above the traffic. The rush, of everyday life, is forgotten and to your right a humble appreciation of what mankind has achieved; with credit to public fountains, baseball leagues on summer fridays, skateparks with graffiti tags, and of course.... the trail we walk! 🤯 Look up, and you are surrounded by a vast sky. Starry at night and full of surprises during the day. Visits by a day-moon 🌒 are frequent and with planes soaring by, from the Airforce to the Airport, you can't help but smile as you have just found your favorite trail (:

There's grills there so I assume you can probably bring your own too.
No. And chambers road is close and is busy. The ballparks here are fenced but the gates are locked and dogs are prohibited. Try cherry creek dog park off parker road.
On the right side of the park on Yale going towards Buckley
