Large private lot directly across the street from the theatre (not cheap), accessible via 2nd Street. Much smaller parking lot opposite entrance to the large one. Both are accessible via South 2nd (at San Carlos). No reserved parking. Each busier in December.
Nothing to reserve. Get there early during December because of the Christmas in the Park.
Art Krikorian is correct, however, what I have done I think is better. Park at your hotel or at some "cheap", nothing near downtown San Jose is cheap, parking along the light rail, perhaps near a restaurant that you would like to go to before or after the performance, and then take the light rail to 1 block away from the theater. It is really convenient. Of course, if all you are doing is the theater then follow Art's recommendations, but if you are doing something else in or near San Jose, the light rail is an excellent option for moving around San Jose!
