Contact office directly
As a general rule, you do not. You should first try contacting the 1-800 number, and then contact your local post office directly if they are unable to help. Seldom will your mail be delivered exclusively by one person day-to-day, so a supervisor will be more helpful. Further, letter carrier identities and info is protected under the privacy act and not given to the public. Hope this helps! (I'm a carrier in another state 😊)
