Cottonwood is closed through the summer for construction

Cottonwood Hotsprings is open every day of the year. You can get there from Buena Vista even if the pass is closed

Pass closed? They usually close certain mountain passes only in the winter now that it's summer all roads should be open. But it is of no concern as all roads leading to Cottonwood should be open any time of year. Unless you're coming over from Aspen or something. Hope that helps
