To add to what Elvis said...there are many types of artists here.Always interestingng people and shows. There are acrobats and from time to time plays or films. Best of all,for kids, there are two age appropriate playgrounds and even a dog run.
Tourists, college students, and musicians mostly. Some homeless, but not too bad.
It is very interesting croud around, depending on the day you visiting 😀.During the week days you can see a lot of college students because proximity of NYU also tourist as well artists and musicians. Weekends are mostly local people, all kinds of performers and many tourists again!!😀...as always some homeless but not a lot!
It’s vibrant and has all kinds of people, but located within NYU means lots of college kids
A bunch of people…. Tourists, locals, students (especially from NYU), and musicians
New York University creates a fertile ground for writers, painters and, musicians. There is a velvet womb in the Park of thoughts. Sometimes their teachers pass through. Learned about the different kinds of Philosophies and, Theatre, Quantum Physics, Film. Spike Lee went to Film School at N.Y.U.
On Pillow Fight Day, there are some very fierce pillow fighters hanging out there--one of them jumped off a bench in some kind of WWF (or is it E now) move and gave me a good donkin'...
Good, good queen of the underworld, good, good, good haha, a lot of red envelopes, dripping, babble, no, no, no, no, great, no, no, no, no, baby
All kinds of people
I like the many types of people who frequent the Park. During warmer seasons, you can find all ages. Many old and young men, and some women, playing chess and other board games. There are artists - many are art majors from NYU nearby who draw in chalk on the walkways. Even in Winter there are babysitters and mothers with their offspring taking some exercise or just enjoying being in this lovely, friendly City Park. There are others who skate..sometimes annoying. In warm weather children splash in the fountain in the Park. It is always fun to just sit and people watch. I also like to watch the squirrels playing. There are often musicians who arrive and play.. and you can give them contributions.. and hopefully thank you! I love this park where 5th Ave. ends from Uptown coming down to West Village.
All sorts
Nice and well mannerd people
